Giant pandas are usually found in dense bamboo areas within mountains of central china. They are found within 6 bamboo forests foun in small areas of the north  and central of the Sichuan Province, in the mountains bordering the southern most part of the Gansu Province, and in the mountains of Shaanxi Province.
Giant pandas are usally found within the height of 1200 to 3400 metres high with in the mountains. Where the area is shrouded in heavy clouds, with rain and a dense mist throughout the year.
Giant Panda usually build their territory within the range of 3.8 to 6.8 kilometres big. They build their habitat in areas where it is damp, misty, and has lots of bamboo.
